Vulnerability iOS 13 opens passwords to strangers
A modern person has to use numerous password-protected applications every day, the storage security of which is one of the main tasks of operating systems. Therefore, Apple owners were alarmed by a vulnerability recently discovered in iOS 13 Beta 2 and 3, as well as in iOS 13 Public Beta 2.
Apple’s mobile operating system allows unauthorized users to access account passwords with information related to bank card information stored for auto-completion in Safari, bypassing Touch ID and Face ID.
The error was first noticed by Reddit users who described the vulnerability mechanism in the forum in detail. On iPhone or iPad devices, in the "Settings" section, open the "Passwords and Accounts" section, then "Site and Software Passwords". Then, instead of the necessary verification of identity using a numeric code, Touch ID or Face ID, you just need to click the "Cancel" button. After repeated, from 10 to 20 times repetition, you can access the stored password data.
