Vivo X30 based on Exynos 980 debuts in December
In September, Samsung introduced the flagship Exynos 980 chip, which became the company's first processor with an integrated 5G modem. It was logical to assume that the novelty was destined to become the "heart" of premium devices of the South Korean giant. But, it is likely that the company will sell a brand new chip to the side.
From the vastness of China, information came that the Vivo X30 should premiere in December, which will receive the SoC Exynos 980. The presence of a new processor from Samsung means that the new product will work in the fifth generation networks.
According to the information that flashed on the network, the Vivo X30 will receive a thin-frame display and due to the installation of a retractable front camera, there will be no cutouts or recesses on it.
Recall that Exynos 980 was created according to the standards of the 8-nanometer FinFET process technology and has 8 processor cores located in two clusters: the first formed a duet of high-performance Cortex-A77 cores with a clock frequency of 2.2 GHz and the second housed six Cortex-A55 cores with a peak frequency of 1.8 GHz.
The chip received support for displays with a resolution of 3360 × 1440 pixels, a 108 megapixel camera, a UFS 2.1 flash drive and LPDDR4x RAM, a Mali-G76 MP5 video accelerator and a neuro-processor unit for performing operations related to artificial intelligence.
