Shell One UI 2.0 Beta indicates the possibility of installing a 120-Hz screen in the Samsung Galaxy S11
Samsung will be among those launching a smartphone equipped with a display with a frame rate of 120 Hz. It is believed that a device with such a screen is a pleasure to use due to the smoothness and responsiveness of the interface.
The fact that the South Korean giant wants to implement such a matrix is indicated by information found in the bowels of the One UI 2.0 Beta interface released for Galaxy Note 9.
A well-known insider @Universelce told about it to a wide audience and showed a screenshot with the option to select the screen refresh rate: 60 Hz or 120 Hz.
The chip itself was found in hidden settings and at the moment there is no smartphone in the Samsung model line equipped with a screen with support for a frame rate of 120 Hz.
And this means that the option was prepared for the device, whose announcement will take place in the future. Among those who can be honored with such a display are the flagship Samsung Galaxy S11, which will premiere in the first quarter of next year.
What Samsung smartphone will actually receive such a 120-Hz display, we will find out only next year. A similar screen is the prerogative of the flagships, and for this year the company has already fulfilled the plan for the production of premium devices.
