Realme Developers Had to Pause Realme X Update
In late October, Realme released a software update for Realme X, which finally featured the long-awaited “dark theme” and updated the security patch to the October version. However, due to a critical error, the company had to suspend sending updates.
Timely closed the problem
According to Realme developers, they "found a critical bug before the update reached more devices. As a result, the update was temporarily delayed." Despite the fact that the company has not yet announced a specific date for the new update, it is expected that a new wave will begin in a couple of weeks. Programmers promise to optimize the system and completely clear errors in the new firmware version.
When to wait for the new "Android"?
Speaking about the release of ColorOS based on Android 10, Realme X and the lite version, Youth Edition, will be the first phones to receive an update to the latest version of Green Robot. This event is expected in the first quarter of 2020. Realme Q (the same Realme 5 Pro), launched in China in September, will also receive this update in the first quarter of 2020.
But the truly hype newcomers Realme X2 and Realme X2 Pro, who are interested in tech-geeks for their excellent price-performance ratio, will get the “top ten” only in the second quarter of 2020. One way or another, this information is intended for the Chinese region, and the date of updating the global firmware has not yet been disclosed. Let's hope that the Chinese will not make their fans wait long, and all bugs will now be closed before the release of stable versions of the corporate GUI.
