Nokia 9.1 PureView: Details on Features and Release Time
At the MWC 2019 exhibition held in February, HMD Global introduced the long-awaited flagship Nokia 9 PureView, which became one of the original devices in terms of the main camera. The company tried to squeeze the maximum out of five image sensors. As a result, we got a special smartphone, the camera of which did not lead to awe of users.
Now the company is preparing for the debut of Nokia 9.1 PureView and, as in the case with its predecessor, not everything goes smoothly with its creation. A message came that the premiere of the smartphone was postponed.
The reason is not a desire to rush and the goal is to avoid problems in the operation of the device. Hence the decision of HMD Global to postpone the announcement of Nokia 9.1 PureView to the fourth quarter of this year instead of the third quarter.
The new product focuses on increasing productivity, improving photo processing algorithms and improving the quality of images. The Snapdragon 855 platform will be responsible for the computing power and the Snapdragon X50 modem will be installed here.
They will offer Android Q OS “out of the box” and a display with a round hole for the front. They promise to finalize the main camera, where they will try to improve the quality of images in conditions of poor external lighting, as well as increase the speed of the sensors by optimizing the firmware and photo processing algorithms.
