Honor V30 camera will be able to convert 2D images to 3D
The Honor flagship line is an attempt to give the market devices with a number of chips from Huawei's premium donor devices, but at a lower cost. And even more often, the company produces models designed for those who focus on the camera, which, according to the idea, should offer a decent level of photography.
Bizarre delights in the camera are promised in the Honor V30, which will premiere next week. Sony's new IMX686 sensor should set the tone in photography. And even today, the company announced that the camera will receive support for the “2D in 3D” function and for clarity, “revived” Mona Lisa in the photo.
This technology is reminiscent of augmented reality with the recreation of three-dimensional images. The manufacturer has shown how this feature works in the video, but, unfortunately, it is not available. It is worth remembering that such a “2D in 3D” method is very limited by image parameters, requires a lot of time to complete all the transformations, is resource-intensive, and neural networks are indispensable for its operation.
As a result, Honor engineers managed to circumvent all the technical limitations in the mobile camera, find the balance of image quality / speed, we will find out after the first results of testing the Honor V30 camera appear.
It became known the release time of the Honor V30 and Honor V30 Pro
