EMUI 10 Global beta available for 8 Huawei smartphones
Huawei has long been released an open beta version of proprietary firmware EMUI 10 for several of its smartphones in China. Now developers have gotten their hands on global firmware, and from today, owners of 8 models of the company's smartphones can try out the chips and changes that the proprietary shell brings with it.
The lucky ones included the Huawei Mate 20 / Mate 20 Pro / Mate 20 Lite / Mate 20X, Huawei P30 Lite, Huawei Nova 5T, Huawei P Smart 2019 and P Smart + 2019 smartphones.
If you are the owner of one of these models, then you can install the global beta version of EMUI 10 on your device. You can find the assembly you need on the company's official website, but before you download the update, you need to install the Huawei Beta proprietary application.
The main difference between EMUI 10 and the previous version of the shell is its updated design and color code change. Due to the active involvement of neural networks in the operation of the firmware, the response time was reduced, software processes were optimized and the speed of the system was increased.
The developers made a serious emphasis on the Always on Display function, redrawn the notification curtain, improved gesture control and a dark theme, which is mandatory for our days, has appeared. The camera application was also updated, but there were no drastic changes.
