DxOMark slightly changes the approach to testing cameras due to the complaining of Apple fans
Xiaomi CC9 Pro has become one of the high-profile premieres of recent days. Especially the manufacturer praises the Pentacamera novelties. It turned out that DxOMark secretly tested this model before the announcement and its photo capabilities impressed the experts so much that they put this model at the top of their own rating.
And it turned out that the Chinese smartphone by its photo capabilities bypassed the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. DxOMark experts rated the cameras of Apple smartphones an average score of 117, while Xiaomi CC9 Pro received 121 points from them.
Fans of the Cupertino concern were unsatisfied with DxOMark ratings and they especially drew attention to the fact that when evaluating the video capabilities of the new products, experts analyzed the quality of clips in 1080p mode at 30 frames per second.
In their opinion, such videos do not fully reflect the potential of cameras capable of writing in 4K format. The testers decided to be content only with 1080p video recording at a speed of 30 frames per second, which is proposed by default on smartphones.
DxOMark experts listened to the opinions of users and promised that in their next video tests they will use the maximum settings of the camera when recording video, not limited to the default settings.
